Note to Michelangelo et al

Hey guys, save yourselves the postage! Do not send your artwork to the Twin Cities 2010 Pride art show. No, keep the David home, and all of those paintings the rest of you did about St. Sebastian. Just look at the painting - gorgeous work - that was turned down by them as being too erotic. (See note below.)  Yes, I know that "Mansweat" an oil by Mark DeBauch doesn't even show the young man's  - oh, what is the PC word right now? - package, but maybe the committee was too mesmerized by the artist's last name to think clearly? LOL Oh, puhleeze, Mary!

Below, two neighbors (of each other), both in Florence. The one you don't know is The Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian done in about 1450 by Antonio and Piero del Pollaiuolo (brothers, mostly Antonio) for a chapel!
Ok, now, the only copy I've seen of the Mansweat is at  Boy Culture and its a bitmap, which I can't show, but do yourself a favor and hurry on over to http://boyculture.typepad.com/boy_culture/ and see it.
